A Heartfelt Farewell: Jim Norton retires from the NW3 CLT Board of Directors
We are deeply grateful to announce the retirement of Jim Norton from the NW3 Community Land Trust (CLT) Board of Directors. Jim has been an invaluable part of our journey, bringing his unparalleled energy, sharp eye for detail, and unwavering commitment to affordable housing in Hampstead.
Since joining the board, Jim’s expertise in strategy, operations, and finance has been pivotal in shaping the future of NW3 CLT. His background in international consultancy and management, along with his deep love for the Hampstead community, have been key in guiding our organisation through some of its most important milestones.
At our recent AGM, Sanya Polescuk, NW3 CLT’s founder, gave a moving and tearful speech, highlighting Jim’s dedication and tireless work over the years. She, like all of us, acknowledged how Jim’s leadership and determination helped steer our vision toward reality.
From his successful efforts to save The Armoury Gym from developers in 2008, to his thoughtful oversight of the Daleham Gardens project, Jim’s presence has been felt across the entire Hampstead community. His legacy will continue to inspire the board and members of NW3 CLT for years to come.
Thank you, Jim, for everything you’ve done for NW3 CLT and for the broader Hampstead community. Your wisdom, passion, and friendship will be deeply missed, but your impact will remain. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
